Traidcraft

Student D&AD Awards
Commendation

This billboard headline earned me my first award, a student D&AD commendation for poster advertising in 2002. A simple thought provoking way to raise awareness of Traidcraft's fairtrade coffee.

Greenius

MCCA & Green Awards Winner

'Greenius' was an in-house communications campaign which I concepted in a team whilst working at EHS Brann London. It won two awards in 2009. MCCA Best professional innovation by an agency and The Green Awards, Best Green Internal communications.

The aim of the campaign was to reduce the carbon footprint of the agency. Encouraging the employees to print less whilst at work to save on paper and energy.

This was achieved with a virtual forest that employees cared for. If they printed less their virtual trees flourished and they were rewarded with benefits. This messaging was kept front of mind with treemails (emails), and desktop mugs.

In addition canvas bags were displayed in the agency which carried the campaign messaging. These were free for staff and clients to use. Discouraging the use of single use plastic bags (used by staff shopping in their lunch hour) and acting as a walking advertisement.

MTV Studios
PPA Advertising Awards Gold Winner

I won gold at the 2004 PPA Advertising Awards for my MTV Studios B2B press campaign. The ads ran in Broadcast magazine, and were aimed at film and TV industry professionals seeking the use of studios with editing suites. For dubbing, graphics, transmission and library facilities etc.

My concept was that MTV Studios had everything needed to make you and your work look better than just good. So my ads cheekily suggested the target audience make the most of it with the strapline ‘do what you like’. Shown using comical office scenarios and tongue-in-cheek headlines.

In addition to concepting the ideas with initial scamps, I wrote the copy, art directed the photoshoot, and designed the ads.
