'Digital Search Heroes'
Winner of a 'One Minute Briefs' creative competition.
Every 90 seconds, someone is reported missing in the UK. In response, the charity ‘Missing People’ launched a ‘Digital Search Heroes’ initiative asking members of the public to share missing appeals across their social platforms and keep an eye out in their area. My idea used a social media window in the real world to show missing people and how social media can help get them seen and found. On winning , I went on to develop my creative with the client into adshels and billboards and social media ads. The social media ads ran across Facebook as paid for and organic ads.
The client was thrilled with the results,
stating that the ads had been:
‘...hugely beneficial for recruiting digital search heroes’
‘...twice as effective at getting sign ups to share
missing people appeals’.
